Our Officient

TA-DA! 


Our officient is Andy Aubin! Our officient is Andy Aubin!

Andy is an old friend of Tara's from college. 

Sort of. 

While he didn't go to Bloomsburg, he did start dating Tara's roommate, Jenn (Mama Hoods), during their senior year. Thus, he became a friend from the college years. 

Without getting too mushy, when we thought about the person who would officiate our wedding, we knew it had to be someone who represented all of the things we believe in. Some of those people were already playing a special part in our wedding, including Mama Hoods herself. 

Andy and Jenn are two people who exemplify what marriage should be about. And while there are more couples than just the Aubins to whom we look for example, to whom we come for guidance, and all of whom could have done us this great honor, we knew Andy's gregarious personality would fit the bill. 

With their help, we've written a ceremony that is close to our hearts. Though it's not religious in nature, we will ask for God's blessing on our marriage. We hope you'll ask for it too!

And yes, it's legal in the State of Pennsylvania. 

And really, who wouldn't want to be married by Andy Aubin?
